Shellberge HTO 972 heat transfer oil is high performance product intended for use in closed indirect heating installations. it is recommended for use in cold-oil sealed, indirect heating and cooling systems in all kinds of industrial processes. Shellberge HTO 972 heat transfer oil is formulated from highly refined base stocks that are resistant to thermal cracking and chemical oxidation. It is very thermally stable and capable of an extremely long service life without deposit formation or viscosity increase. Shellberge HTO 972 heat transfer oils have good heat transfer efficiency, and their viscosity is such that it can be pumped readily at both start-up and operating temperatures. It demonstrates specific heat and thermal conductivities that provide more rapid heat dissipation. The flash points of the oil will not decrease significantly in service because of its resistance to thermal cracking at the operating temperatures for which it is recommended. Shellberge HTO 972 heat transfer oil should be used only in enclosed systems with forced circulation through operating temperature of -15º C to 280º C. Application includes refineries and petrochemical plants, hotels, textile industries and other process industries where high efficient heat transfer is required.
